PALMC Cares

Sharing their blessings on their 42nd anniversary.

Philippine Airlines Mountaineering Club (PALMC) successfully conducted an Outreach Program last December 26, 2022 at Barangay Daraitan, Tanay, Rizal. PALMC members led by President Wagner Mark Martinez, together with friends who volunteered for the occasion, traveled to the mountains of Tanay and crossed the Tinipak river by way of makeshift raft to reach the headquarters of the Daraetan Ladies Associations Inc. (DALAS).

A simple gift giving activity was organized by Ms. Aylin Marking Javier, President of DALAS, for the 150 lucky children ages 2 to 7 years old who were selected from different areas of Barangay Daraitan. PALMC and DALAS volunteers shared Christmas gift packs to the delight of the Dumagat children and residents. Snacks, juice boxes, toys, books, clothes and other items were also distributed.

PALMC handed over to DALAS two huge boxes of water purifying tablets donated by Sky International and several boxes of medicines donated by PAL Medical and PAL Inflight Service Training Department. The outreach program was made possible through kind and generous PALMC members, friends, PAL Cabin Crew employees, PAL Employee Welfare and Communications team and PAL Medical, who contributed cash, valuable items, time and effort for the benefit of needy constituents of Daraitan.
